Conky workspace indicator.

This is my workspace indicator powered by Conky =P

Just download, extract, uncomment the line you want and

$ conky -c /path/to/file/conkyrc-workspace

SO EASY!

I really love this - thankyou! But, I am having the same problem. When I change workspaces, the 1st bullet is still highlighted. I am using compiz.
Is there a fix for this? Or any advice / links would be really appreciated!

Or have I missed something really basic?

i understand why, im using compiz so the workspace can't work like metacity does
metacity --replace did the trick but i want my compiz on ...
i hav made a script like your with wmctrl but it load too much cpu for what i want from conky

it does not work here on my 12.10+gnome-panel session (using metacity)
no warnings in terminal i do not know how to debug it
any idea ?

It doesn't work for me, for some reason.. I mean, it draws everything fine, but it nothing happens when I change workspace, the first bullet is still highlighted.

I'm running ubuntu 12.10, maybe that's the problem?
